Pulse Awarded at 2022 Student Experience Network Awards
This week a number of our staff attended the 2022 Student Experience Network Conference (SENCON) at University of NSW. This is always a great opportunity to catch up with our peers and share ideas and experiences and discuss challenges we have faced over the last year.
This year a number of the Pulse Team presented sessions around wellness, student engagement and we even ran a small activation during the expo – showing everyone the Great Pulse Muffinchute!
At the 2022 SENCON Gala Dinner last night, Pulse received 3 awards for:
- Most Successful Sports or Recreation Initiative – UniActive Online
- Most Successful Clubs and Society Program – Pulse UniClubs Program
- Most Successful Wellbeing and Support Program – Pulse Pantry
In addition Pulse Student Experience Manager, Thomas Quinn was awarded the Joe Curtis Professional Development Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an individual that shares the same values as SEN and is committed to the continued development and success of student engagement within Universities. Tom will be given the opportunity to engage in sector-related professional development programs or conferences or complete an Australian University Intervarsity tour.
We are incredibly proud of what we do and the support we offer to students.
Congratulations to all the other winners and we can’t wait to keep enhancing your student experience here at UOW!
