International Week returns to campus

Bonjour! Hola! Konnichiwa! This week we have celebrated International Week online, embracing the diversity, culture and joy that it brings us all. From food to dancing, art and trivia, competitions and dreaming of our next overseas adventure when we can, students were able to immerse themselves in a range of online activities to escape and learn new things.

Although we couldn’t be on campus to celebrate this year we still wanted to give back to our student community and provide them with some International food to bring some joy. Our Aspire Chef’s planned and cooked up 620 meals to serve to our students at our Student Accommodation sites Kooloobong, Campus East, Bangalay and Grad House. A variety of meals were served from Jamaican Jerk chicken with mango coleslaw and grilled corn, falafel with tabouli, pitta and coconut yogurt, Nacho and Pork bao buns, all being enjoyed by students.

It’s been a great week and we have loved seeing everyone getting involved and having some fun in these challenging times.
