From enrolment to graduation, UOW Pulse is here to make the student experience at UOW a fun and memorable one. UOW Pulse offers a range of entertainment and unique experiences for students to engage within their community and gain valuable skills and outcomes through volunteering programs, wellness workshops and events as well as student-led sports activities and more.
UOW Pulse was established in 2016. It came to be with the merging of the institution’s Students Union and the Sports Association. UOW Pulse is an independent, not-for-profit organisation which is governed by a professional Board including an elected Student-Director, with committees including the Pulse Advisory Committee comprising of current UOW students.

UOW Pulse is a not for profit organisation, with proceeds from everything purchased on campus going straight back into enriching student life on campus. Whether that’s through events and activities, sport and wellness initiatives, or through our peer-to-peer programs such as clubs and societies and volunteering.

UniShop is your one-stop campus and online store for textbooks, e-textbooks, children’s books, UOW merchandise, gifts and memorabilia. Whether you’re studying or shopping around on campus, UniShop delivers convenience and variety.
UniActive provides premium fitness and sports facilities in the Illawarra, including gyms, a heated 50m pool, indoor stadium, group classes, personal training and allied health services. Open to UOW staff, students and the wider community.

Kids’ Uni offers high-quality early childhood education and care across three long day centres and an after school/vacation care service. Serving children aged six weeks to 12 years, Kids’ Uni proudly exceeds national standards in every centre.
Village Grocer is your campus grocery store, located in Building 11. Stocking everyday essentials, groceries, snacks, drinks, meal deals and weekly specials, it’s the perfect spot for students and staff to grab fresh food and supplies on the go.
As UOW grows, so does the selection of retail and service outlets on campus. From UniShop to Village Grocer, shopping for textbooks, gifts, clothing and groceries is made simple. Students and staff can stay organised with a range of services on campus including, banks, physio, medical centre, hairdresser and beauty salon.
Pulse provides over 20 options for delicious food and drinks on campus. From cool coffee haunts and gourmet cafes to multicultural cuisines, healthy options and more, there is a diverse mix of quality eateries on campus.
